    Description

    Weller Pottery (Zanesville OH 1872-1948) made numerous shapes in their Hudson line 1917-34.  In various sprayed-on matte background colors, pieces were hand-decorated.
    This piece has a white background with pastel flowers & vines.
    It is 10-1/2 inches tall & 6-1/2 inches wide at its widest point.
    Pieces were usually signed by the decorator & this one is signed "HP" for Hester Pillsbury.  Condition is very good, with no chips or hairlines, but there is slight crazing in the white background & a tiny pinhole glaze pop near the top rim on the side of the vase as shown.
