Description
BOEINGLab Coat
Space Station Freedom
Boeing full length lab coat used during the space station testing and manufacture.
Plain front of collarless coat with snap and zipper closure. Back of coat patch reads "Boeing" "Space Station Manufacturing" with an art rendering of the Space Station Freedom.
I believe this coat was used in the early 1990's as part of the space station project.
Unknown brand (no labeling) . I am guessing a thin polyester fabric. Measures 26" across the chest and about 45" from top of collar to bottom hem. No pockets. Elastic cuffs on the sleeves. From the materials and design of this coat I would say that it was used in a dust-free (or maybe static-free) setting.
Condition
Clean. There are some small black spots across the top of the shoulders. Cuffs and collar are very clean and show no sign of grime or wear. Artwork and lettering are bright and clean.
