    Description

This is a silk covered and lined traditional cardboard box holding a ceramic “pot” of red ink paste for a Chinese “chop” or soapstone stamp.
Using the chop is a traditional way to sign a Chinese painting. The red ink paste is a permanent and lightfast ink that will ensure the identification of your own personal mark.
Box measures 2.25" x 2.25" x 1.25"  Ink pot has original plastic seal and is fresh and ready to use.
The ink paste is made primarily of Airong Fiber from the Chinese plant Aicao. This fiber is ground and mixed with oil and red ink to create the ink paste.
Please examine the photos carefully before bidding.
