    Description:
    A beautiful purple with luster Carnival Glass deep tri corner ruffled bowl or candy dish. This is what is known as the purple tri-corner nappy shape. The bowl has a round base which rises straight up for about 3/4" then flares outwards with ruffled rounded sides forming a three corner shape. It also has an applied looped handle. The piece is colored in deep lustrous purple color and has a raised holly and berry desig. The bowl has a round base and the exterior is undecorated. This beautiful piece has a very nice iridescent look over the deep purple colored glass on the inside but not on the outside or the foot. The piece is of solid glass construction. It is documented in Ellen T. Schroy's book Carnival Glass Identification and Price Guide published by KP Books in 2004 on page 89. Please carefully review photos as they are part and parcel of our description.
