    Description

    Antique beer bottle - embossed  above slug  WEISS(arched), in slugplate  HENRY EVERS(arched)/ 49 MONROE ST. / NEW YORK(arched), under slug near heel BIER(arched), on reverse - THIS / BOTTLE/ NOT TO BE / SOLD. 3 on base.  Blown, light blue / aqua. Approx. 7 3/4" tall and beefy(weighs 22 oz.). Embossing is good, Monroe is a little weak but that's in making. Glass has some wear with light scratching, some above WEISS and along heel. There is some rust spotting on blob and neck consistent with bale attachment.  Popped bubble on reverse at shoulder. Neat Pre Prohibition Weiss beer bottle from NY.
