Hilda Clark (1872 – May 5, 1932) was an American model and actress.
Hilda was born in Leavenworth, Kansas. As a young adult she moved to Boston to become a popular music hall songstress and actress. She became famous as a model in 1895, when she became the first woman to be featured on a tin Coca-Cola tray. Hilda Clark remained the advertising “Face” of Coca-Cola until February 1903.
Condition:
The condition of this 120-year-old tip tray is good, the face of the tip tray has some minor paint loss has minor wear marks and scratches which would be consistent with an advertising piece from 1901. The back of the tray has more paint loss, wear marks, & scratches. There are no bends or dents in the tray. “This is a real survivor.”
