Not easy to find in this condition.  What sets this skater girl tray apart is the excellent condition of the figure (Skater Girl) area of the tray.  We give this one an (Exc. 8.0), but many may put it at (8.5).  The litho print area almost jumps off of the tray, it is so nice.  There are some scuffs and wear to outer gold edge of tray as shown in photos and a few scuffs and minor paint bubbling and bleed through in the red area but it still looks terrific.
The picture area with skater looks nearly mint if on a shelf, but a close look will show some minor scuffs (utensil scratches) that we tried to capture in pictures of photo gallery, but they do not effect its appeal much.  There is a small rust spot, paint lost just above boot on right leg, but again it does not have a major impact on appeal, but keeps it out of the 8.5 or up class.  The t
ray has s
trong colors & original sheen.  The back of tray has only minor wear as is pictured but nothing major or detracting from tray's appeal of course.  Certainly a collector grade piece. Please review all pictures taken for your consideration and use zoom feature if needed.
BONUS TRAYS are 1970's reproduction trays we had on hand but they have just enough wear to look older.  We threw them to move clear room in our inventory and figured a collector may use them for display or to pass on to a friend. These usually sell for - each on there own but we just priced by main "Skater" tray.  It may add a dollar or two to shipping, but thought it was a good bonus.  They are in decent shape with good display appeal but not as nice as the main tray.
Any grading is based on our own opinion in comparing to online grading guides (Martin's or other), please purchase based on what you feel item is worth based on pictures.  You can use zoom feature if needed.
We tried to photograph from a number angles in different lighting conditions to capture tray's appeal. This is among the better conditioned trays listed on eBay.  We have sold several trays only slightly better for well above 0 in the last few years as we were fortunate enough to find a batch from a collector's estate.
We only gently cleaned the dusted off of the "Skater" tray.  The price guides vary on this from 0 and up in this condition (Exc) depending on the site, with mint prices above 0, but do your own research.  We try to price items below price guides as they are often optimal price estimates and conditions can vary slightly even within the same grade.
