NASA Gemini IX Original Color Photo High Orbit over India

Description

Shipped in the original glass frame that hung in a NASA office, with information tag on back, this is an historic image of the 850 mile "High Apogee Revolution" of Gemini XI over India/Ceylon. Pete Conrad and Dick Gordon flew Gemini XI in September 1966.  The image is stuck to the glass in spots with several tears of photo emulsion (see photos). But is it an original print that can be restored, or left as is.  The flaws are not very distracting (they look like tiny clouds!), considering the impact of this incredible image.
