Mohawk One Dial Tube Radio 1926 Cherokee Wood Lift Top
You are bidding on a Mohawk One Dial Tube Radio serial number 13871. This radio does not say a model number other than One Dial but looking online I found a One Dial that says Cherokee & it resembles this radio. That is all I am basing it on to call this a Cherokee so please keep that in mind when bidding. The Cherokee was made in 1926. The wiring will need to be checked & one knob is missing.
I have shown some photos so you can get an idea of its condition & I have tried to describe this as best I can but don't hesitate to ask questions & I will get back to you. The radio will be packed & ready to ship so it is not always possible to check for specifics. Some of the veneer is loose & on one side the veneer is starting to tear but is all there(see arrow in photos). The wood case has some scratches & the finish is worn. The tubes are all there but I did not test this radio. Don’t know if it works or not, I usually do not plug these in unless I know that they work so please bid on it that way. This is a very collectable radio so add it to your collection. This radio is not perfect but with a little(or a lot) of work could be a great looking collectible radio. I have included lots of photos so check out the photos to see if you can use this, either for parts or as a project. This radio would look great in your collection. No reserve so add it to your collection.
