    Description

    For sale here is a very rare as listed in the latest edition of the Pre-Prohibition Baltimore Beer Bottle Book, early, antique, amber, blown in mold, embossed, pictorial, Pre-Prohibition, Loop Seal closure, beer bottle from Baltimore, Maryland. The bottle is embossed THE BALTIMORE BREWERIES COMPANY LIMITED around SPRING GARDEN BREWERY / horseshoe / TRADE / MARK / REGISTERED / BOTTLING DEPARTMENT all over THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD all on the front. Likely dates to the 1890s. Just over 9.5 inches tall. There is a tiny internal crack in the front that can only be seen when held in front of a bright light. The bottle has scratches and groundwear as well as stain, haze and sickness. Has a beautiful rainbow iridescence covering the entire outside. Really makes this one look stunning on a shelf.
