Many people can hear the difference between pickups with nickel-silver baseplates and those that use softer alloys like brass or pot metal. The baseplate metal has a direct effect on a pickup’s inductance. Great replacement or as an upgrade for Gibson / Epiphone and other brand electric guitars or for that custom project. This outstanding humbucker uses high output coils along with a powerful Alnico 8 magnet to give you the sweet treble response of an Alnico 2 magnet with the midrange emphasis of Alnico 5 and the power of a ceramic magnet.
