Heavy Chinese High Relief Carved Dragon Inkstone- Qing Dynasty

Description

A nicely carved rectangular ink stone carved with high relief Dragon in cloud chasing a fireball. Lid tightly fit to the body. Possible Qing Dynasty.
Size: 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" x 2 1/4" (14.5x14.5x6 cm)
Base part size: H: 4cm, lid H:2 cm
Lid diameter: 5" (12.5 cm).
Color: Dark maroon with a few grey white spots (see the ball).
Weight: 3.9 lb (1760 gram)
Condition: good antique condition with heavily used. Rough on four corners and fleabites in the lid rim.
No restoration or repairs are observed.
