I pulled this from a 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom that I am in the process of restoring. Obviously this is not a stock 1979 Gibson Pickup. Does not fit the era. However, it does seem a bit vintage, has some age. I'm guessing early 1990s. I read that Gibson was marking their pickups with the Gibson USA monogram on the backside, as shown. It is gold, however aging to almost chrome...light scratches are visible but nothing major. It is the bridge position and on reads 14.03K resistance on my meter. Single braided wire, approx 12" in lead length. Sounds great, however I already have some pickups I'm going to install so I do not need these. I found a forum article that suggest the pickups based on their resistance. If I had to put money on it, I would guess it is either a Gibson 57' or 498T. I have neck version as well if interested, I will combine shipping. Comes with what you see, no mount screws, no ring, however it does have pickup spring/screws.Gibson Burstbucker Pro..........(sim: BB1, Alnico5, potted).....7.4KO
