    *Up for sale here is a very early and scarce quart crown top beer bottle, from the Wood County city of Parkersburg, West Virginia. This hand blown example is very tall with the extended neck. The condition is near perfect, with slight wear and haze. The glass is very clean overall, with bold sharp embossing. This nice example was never pro cleaned or in the tumbler. Bottle should date from about 1900 to 1910.
    *It crisply reads open face ~ "E.O.H. / PARK'B' - W.VA. / B. WKS. / REGISTERED". The base is plain. There are no glass house initials on the bottle. The color is a nice amber. This tall quart example measures 12 inches tall, and 3 1/4 inches in diameter. You will be well pleased with this piece of pre pro history, from the state of West Virginia.
