Dugan-Diamond Six Petals Carnival Glass Ruffled Bowl, Purple/Amethyst
Pretty carnival glass bowl with six ruffles. The six petal design in the center of the bowl is surrounded by detailed scroll work, with a band of pretty blooms and leaves below the plain rim. Purple base glass with beautiful satin multicolor iridescence. Produced 1910-1912.
Condition:  No chips, cracks or repairs. The iridescence is in excellent condition, with no noticeable wear. A few very small tool marks on the rim and a bit of extra glass at the end of one seam at the rim.
Marks:  Unmarked.
Dimensions:  7 3/4" wide, 2 3/4" deep.
Color Note: Some pictures are taken with a black background to highlight how the color of the iridescence of carnival glass can change in appearance depending on background color. Both the white and black background photos were taken under the same lighting, only the background color was changed. How the iridescence will look in your home will depend on your unique background colors and lighting conditions.
