Here is a BLOB TOP PRE PRO BEER BOTTLE from Aurora, Indiana that is embossed in a SLUG PLATE:
CRESCENT BREWING COMPANY AURORA, IND.
with a
CRESCENT MOON
in the center. This PINT SIZE is definitely harder to find that the amber quart and is one of the EARLIER VARIANTS from the 1870's or so. The company started production in the mid 1870's and closed the doors in the early 1890's. It is AMBER in COLOR and is a PINT SIZE and is about 9 7/8" TALL. It is in GOOD CONDITION but does have a fair amount of wear and stain on the outside and quite a bit inside stain and black streaks but NO DAMAGE such as chips, cracks, dings, etc. There is an interesting looking whitish yellow round place on the neck that happened when the bottle was made.
