Strat Pre-Wired Pickguard
We started with our Vintage Strat Wiring Harness, added BYO pickups. Then we mounted them all on a black pickguard.  It is all wired  up with vintage cloth wire. Throw on the knobs and switch tip. And you've got an amazing upgrade for your Strat. Made with the highest quality components, professionally installed.
BYO Storm Pickups
- Vintage Strat wind delivering classic tone of late 50's. Warm, smooth tone. Prominent mids, clear and glassy highs and solid bass response.
These are built stock with staggered alnico 5 magnets, and vintage spec heavy formvar wire. Grey fibreboard flatwork for a vintage look. The middle pickup is RWRP to achieve hum-canceling in positions 2 and 4.

DCR: 5.7k Neck, 6.1 Middle, 6.3k Bridge
Wire: 42 Gauge Heavy Formvar
Vintage cloth lead wires.
Vacuum wax potted.

30% taper (just like vintage potentiometers)

Solid brass shaft and bushing
Beveled edge split shaft for easy knob push on
Oak Grigsby 5-Way switch
Russian K40Y-9 Capacitor
200V 0.047uF PIO capacitor
10% tolerance
Treble Bleed Circuit
150K-ohm 1/4-watt resistor in parallel with a .001uF capacitor.
Wired between the input and output lugs of the volume pot
Smooths out treble bleed.
Gets more uniform tone from 1 to 10
More rounded sound at low volume.
