    Description

    Vintage 10" x 10" Bird on Vase Mexican Tile
    Here is a really nice 10" x 10" Mexican tile that comes from the 1960's or 1970's. It really is quite weighty (3 lbs 5 oz!) and is clearly marked as made in Mexico on the back. The design is of a vase with a bird featured prominently at the center. The background is orange in color. The design (and back) are primitive in design.
    Condition: There are no cracks, scratches, chips, etc that are not part of the original design. As you can see from the pictures the back of the tile is very rough. You can even see finger impressions! On the front there are a couple of tiny divots that again were part of the design. They are under the glaze. All of this is part of the original handmade design.
