This is our Benson Custom Hand wound
S-style neck pickup from our popular 63 set.

Classic s-style tone , with warm and very clean output ,using Alnico 5 magnets for smooth  tones.
We always receive excellent feedback on this pickup , we commonly hear how it helps customer's use the bridge position that they had long neglected.

FEATURES:
.....Pickups are medium scatter wound for warmth in tone, same as the early S pickups everyone searches for
.....The pole pieces are Modern light staggered right handed alnico 5 magnets -upon request we can wind for left
.....Pole distance is 52mm
....Raw magnet look,unpolished and unbeveled
.....winding is TL/TG with south up
.....#42 awg Heavy formvar wire
.....pickups are potted to avoid microphonic sound and improve durability
.....Dc resistance 6.2K +/- .1k, can be over wound upon request
.....Mounting screws and springs are included
…..Vintage cloth leads which require no stripping, just push back and solder.
......Mounting spacing is 77mm
