    Description

I am currently listing with no reserve and low starting bid, a few of my better dug bottles from my collection, some of which I have had for decades. Those I have listed this go-around are the last shelf of my bottles dug in the western states. These were dug from the mid 1960's up to about 2007. One's that have remnants of paint are from the 60's and are easily washed clean with soap & water and a scrubby sponge.  Listed here are 3 tooled top beers. One on left is embossed " CAL. BOTTLING CO./ EXPORT BEER/ S.F." It is a typical amber color crown top beer in undamaged condition with some whittle in the glass and clean as can be. Next is a "BUFFALO BREWING Co./ S.F. AGENCY" with the monogram "BBCo." It is a nice light honey amber color with an early top in great condition. Only thing I can find to pick at is the backside has some scratches that could easily be buffed out. Those are likely due to the fact I pried it out of the surface of a corral where horses were kept! The little sampler is embossed "RAINIER/ BEER/ SEATTLE/ USA." Word is, these were popular free give-aways at the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis. Not clear if they were continued as samplers after the fair or not but they sure don't seem to pop up often. Unfortunately this one has only about 1/4th of the lip undamaged. The rest is pretty chipped up with one sliver chip reaching just below the blob top to the neck. Still an interesting piece for that Rainier collector until (or if) a better one comes along. If you are unhappy for any reason, you will have my standard guarantee of your satisfaction or full refund upon return. Also I will offer free shipping if you purchase three or more of my auction lots and will combine where practical. Thanks for looking and keep watching for more as I continue to thin out my collection of 57 years.
