Genuine 2000s/1990s Gibson® USA GOLD 57 Classic NECK and '57+ Classic Plus BRIDGE vintage PAF humbucker pickup set.
This pair of pickups are in very good condition considering the neck is from late 2000s with the bridge from the 1990s. There's normal playwear and string abrasions that is typical of this age pickups. Love the older pickups and the truly random winding on how these pickups were made. The previous owner wanted a very hot pair of 57s for his guitar and he kept these for over 2 decades. The leads are the vintage braided wire single conductor version, so not the 4 conductor version. The lead wire from the 90s were different is how I know the bridge pickup is from that era. I labeled the output readings on the backs of each pickup. Comes with adjustment screws and springs. If you always wanted a like new condition pair of 57 classics and didn't want to pay brand new prices, this pair is it.
The '57 Classics are one of Gibson's holy grail of pickups. I love these pickups on both my Les Paul and ES-335 guitars. The '57 Classic in the neck gave me a much warmer and smoother tone. The '57 Classic plus in the bridge adds just enough bite. So, these PAF '57 Classics are great in solid body, semi-hollow or fully hollow body guitars.
