    At the time of its release, the 2005 Platinum American Eagle was the lowest minted Platinum coin made by the U.S Mint with only 9,013 coins produced. Furthermore, examples in perfect Mint State 70 are hard to come by with only 141 pieces in PCGS population. This is a beautiful example of this perfect coin. The devices are razor sharp and the fields pristine and is an amazing investment or a terrific addition to any collection.
