This listing is for two Dual Tuner model TCD649080 Series 2 TiVo Digital Video Recorders each with remote w/ 2 new AA batteries
and cables (RCA audio/video cables, new IR controller cable, power cable).
For combined analog and digital (via cable box) applications, you may need two coax cables w/ a splitter to configure the unit properly (not included).
One unit is activated with product lifetime service plan
for which I am the registered owner and can authorize transfer of the unit to a new owner.
The other unit is activated with an 'internal Testing' service plan which provides full TiVo functionality, but I'm going to assume is non-
transferable.
You can hook the unit up and use all the standard TiVo features for pause/recording/playback/etc., but it probably can't be transferred to your account so online features or TiVo-to-TiVo transfers won't be available.
Both units have been upgraded with a quiet, high capacity Western Digital AV-GP (1TB) hard drive for 1267 hours of recording capacity in basic mode.  Western Digital AV-GP hard drives
are designed to deliver reliable 24×7 operation in video applications.  Drive also has built in acoustic management features to minimize drive noise.
Both TiVo units have been tested to verify they are in good working order.
Overall the units are in good cosmetic condition, but do have some minor scuffs/scratches/marks/etc. typical of used electronics.  Please see actual photo (appended).
This is an older model standard definition TiVo.  It will not process high definition video or tune digital channels.
This model is designed
for use with cable service
that has all analog channels (no cable box) or a combination of analog and digital channels (cable box required for digital channels).  It can be used with a standard definition satellite receiver, an all digital standard definition cable box, or with a compatible digital converter box (for off-air antenna applications), but it will only provide
single
tuning capability in those applications.
You will need an wired Ethernet or wireless network internet connection to allow unit to connect to TiVo servers for guide downloads and updates.  A wired Ethernet cable is included for those who want to connect the unit to a wired home network.  A wireless network adapter is also included for connection to wireless home network.
